This is response to comments I got (I am writing here because I don’t know how to response) Ok so lots of people think this is international breakthrough that is absolutely not true this is just “USA” breakthrough We already got awards for Indian films in international level with the films like Aparajito (Satyajit Ray), Monsoon Wedding , Golden Lion - highest prize given to a film at the Biennale Venice Film Festival. Song of the Road, The Unvanquished , The World of Apu , Devdas, Rang De Basant) - BAFTA Award for Best Film Salaam Bombay! -Cannes Film Festival (French) People of Indian film industry got different reorganization like French honor for Lata Mangeshkar, Amitabh Bachchan, and Satyajit Ray. Amitabh Bachchan -"Star of the Century" award at the Alexandria International Film Festival. Egyptian Minister, he was honored at the Hong Kong International Film Festival, he was honored at the Marrakech International Film Festival, he has been awarded France's highest civilian honor, the Knight of the Legion of Honor.. List is very long and I should really start working as I am in office ;) schhhhhhh
